To the
Trustees, Frost Public Library
Gentlemen,
I wish to thank you for placing in the Frost Public Library in Winthrop, a painted portrait of my husband, to perpetuate whose memory I made the gift I did. I assure you that I appreciate it, and also appreciate your efforts to make the unveiling of it a success, as it certainly was. I like the painting, and I consider that also a success, as it could hardly be otherwise from the hands of so eminent as artist as Mr. Cobb.
I enjoyed the ceremony as is was such a tribute to his memory whose name is as near and dear to me. Again thanking you and wishing the Library every success in the future.
I remain yours very respectfully,
Eliza W. Frost |
