Goves Shanty in Winthrop about 1885. It was a club room located at the foot of Grovers Avenue near Sewall and Nahant Avenue. Standing from left to right-Mr. Webber, Mr. Norris, Mr. James A. Gove, the builder and Mr. Peaslee in the window. It existed from 1880 to 1906. |
