Looking across the water to the Metropolitan Coal Co. shed in East Boston. The Main St. bridge is on the right. In the 1800's this was known as Bennett's Bridge. The two schooners tied to the wharf brought in coal wood and hay to the shed. Photo taken about 1915. |
