This is a facsimile copy of the petition to have what is now Winthrop set off from North Chelsea (Revere). The original is in the Archives at the State House, measures 11-1/4 x 17-1/8 inches and bears the date of January 17, 1852 on the back. There are fifty-seven signatures of which twenty-eight are Tewksbury, Belcher and Floyd. |
