1848 to 1872. Stage line, first started by Albert Richardson in 1848 from Maverick Sq., East Boston to Winthrop. Later ran to Scollay Square, Boston via the ferry making four round trips a day on week days and two on Sundays, taking hour and half each way. The driver above is thought to be “Liege” Tewksbury. |
