Vincent J. Zaia (1922-1943) - U.S. Merchant Marine, WWII - was an Able Body Seaman killed by accident on October 27, 1943 in a street-car accident in Australia shortly after his ship had delivered a load of muntions. His brother John Zaia, also in the Merchant Marine, was killed when his ship was torpedoed by a German submarine.
