"Mrs. Belle A. Floyd has presented to the library a beautiful large size framed photograph of Mr. Floyd in sepia. It shows him in a characteristic pose, with an open book which he is reading. The historical room, to the development of which as a depository of photographs, engravings, curios, books, maps, etc., related Winthrop, Mr. Floyd devoted much time and thought, has been appropriately named by the trustees that “David Floyd Room.”."
