This is Edward Magee and his three-year-old son Edward Augustus (Gus), and his milk teen at the base of rebid street Hill. This is looking south to the top of the hill from what is now Hutchinson Street. The barn on the left stood on what is now Summit Avenue. "Gus" Magee was the father of Horace A. Magee. Many years later Horace became active in town affairs and served on the school committee until 1935. |
