| From 2004 to 2007 teachers from the Winthrop Public Schools, in collaboration with the Winthrop Historical Commission, participated in Tuft University’s Project LOCAL (Learning Our Community’s American Lore). This was an effort to teach American history to students by exploring the history of their own towns. One of the results of the effort was the compilation of multiple collections of early photographs of Winthrop. |
